Stanford Students Visit USTC
ME310 Design Innovation Course is one of the most famous and influential courses in Stanford University, which has a history of more than 40 years. The course is joined by students in Stanford University and its global collaborating schools. Students learn the methods of designing and creative thinking through a year-long project sponsored by world leading companies. During the academic year 2011-2012, USTC has become the first university in China to join the collaboration course and established the corresponding “Design Innovation” course.
During two weeks since Mar. 17th,Stanford students from “Microsoft Team” and “SAP Team” came to USTC to meet their USTC teammates and joined a series of activities held by USTC and the sponsor companies. Moreover, USTC teammates will go to Stanford University to participate in the final presentation of ME310 Course this June.
Upon the arrival of Stanford students, they visited Microsoft Research Asia and SAP with USTC students. They participated in several activities held by researchers of both companies.

During their stay in USTC, Stanford students visited our campus, USTC History Museum, and joined the activities held my Student Union and IEEE Student Branch of USTC.
